It's been a great month!

I cannot believe how much I was able to accomplish this month!  So glad I stuck to my guns and my resolution to get back into scrapping!
Here are my last 2 pages for January:

I found this sketch from Scrapbook Sketches #424:

And this one was a lot of fun.  I used circle punch, some inks and markers, and buttons.

England Sightseeing

Well, I managed to take a few pictures off of the stack of gazillions from this trip...

I used lots of gold stuff on this page.   :)
Gold stickles, gold ink on the doilie and some gold ribbon down the side.
Kinda tried to match the gold of Queen Victoria.
I used the sketch from Week 4 from Let's Get Sketchy:

For the pictures of St. Paul's Cathedral, I used a sketch from Stuck on U Sketches.

And the last page for tonight was inspired by Scrapbook Challenges:

For this one I found my wooden hexagon pieces and used some fine tipped markers on them.  The flowers and papers are from Simple Stories.

Have a wonderful Day!~!!

Welcome to England!

Off and running on another HUGE stack of vacation photos!
We were lucky enough to spend 7 days in England sightseeing and visiting family.
Here are the first of about 200 layouts....lol

I distressed the background a little with spray mist and a light dabber.
This sketch is from Stuck?!

Next up I used this sketch from Blue Fern along with one of their fun titles.
I used a paint dabber on the titles and the papers are from Little Yellow Bicycle.

Next I used a sketch from Flying Unicorn.  LOVE these denim papers from DCWV!
I added some bling flourishes to the corners and some DIY flowers from LYB.
This is also my One Little Word for the challenge at S.W. A. T.
I definitely need to focus on doing this a LOT more this year..

And then I have this fun page:

This was inspired by another sketch from Scrapmuch?
I used a bit of ink on the edges and as an afterthought, I slipped a map behind the picture.

Well, that's the start of our England trip!
LOTS more to come!

Have a wonderful day!!!

Here is what I came up with using a sketch from Let's Get Sketchy:

And the final page was made using a sketch from Let's Capture Our Memories and a mood board from S.W.A.T.
I slipped in our train tickets behind the pictures.

More of Paris

I really wish we had time to explore more of Paris.  One way we thought would be interesting was to take a balloon ride.  Granted, this particular balloon was tethered,...but it was still fun!!

I used the following sketch from Sketch N Scrap.

To highlight this great picture of the Eifel Tower, I used this sketch from Sketches in Thyme along with a color combo from Scrap Around the World.

Getting close to the end of the Paris pictures!

Have a wonderful day!

Visiting The Louvre

The outside of The Louvre was just as interesting as the inside!
I mixed a few pictures of the courtyard by The Louvre with the ticket stubs.

I used another sketch from Nuts About Sketches.  And I also played along with the Anything Goes  challenge from Clique Kits.  This is a new site I found and the kits look great and I need to build my stockpile, I mean stash, I mean supplies....I was also able to incorporate some chevron pieces from Creative Embellishments that I inked up and sprayed with Glimmer Mist.

Have a wonderful day!

Still sticking it down

Here is a page I made using another fun sketch from Stick it Down.

I added some heart brads and a couple of red Christmas doilies.

Have a wonderful day!

Mid week mojo

After a few minor disasters around the house (my washing machine decided to die), I finally found a little more time to work on more Disneyland Paris pictures.

I used this multi picture sketch from Let's Get Sketchy.

I tried a 2 pager to finish up the pictures from The Queen of Hearts maze.
This sketch is from Stick it Down.
I used lots of buttons so I could play along with the challenge from Use Your Stuff.

Have wonderful day!!!

Scrappy Sunday!

I am so close to being done with the Paris / Disneyland Paris leg of our European vacation!
Here is what I accomplished last night and this morning!

This one came from the sketch from Sketch- N Scrap with the twist of using something old and something new.  For the new, I used my new set of patterned papers from Simple Stories that I got for Christmas.  For the old, I used some metal trimmed tags that I have had forever, added some older stickers and then added some brads and washi tape.

Next up comes from a sketch from Creative Scrappers #285.  All of the papers are from DCWV.  I combined this with a challenge from Scrap Our Stash.  We were to use the letters T-W-I-N-E.
Here is what I used:
T-  Tag
W- Washi Tape
I - Ink (used on all the edges)
N - Numbers (the date of our trip)
E - I used pics from our European Vacation.

More of the sights around Paris.
I used the left side of the sketch from Nuts About Sketches.
The colour palette from Colour Q #274 came in handy.  This set of 3D stickers with the rose and the added color to the rest of the set was perfect.  The patterned papers are from DCWV.

And finally, more pictures of the streets of Paris.
This was a double page sketch from Scrapmuch?.
I also used the color palette challenge from Scrapmuch?.
For an extra challenge, I used the Tic Tac Toe board from 1-2-3-Get Scrappy.  I went across the bottom of the board - added gems to the tags, 3 different patterned papers and I stamped a paisley design on the background.

Off to see what I can finish up on this cold sunday!

Have a wonderful day!!
