Paper Secrets - part 2

So I gave the sketch at Paper Secrets another try...this time remembering the challenge...which was to use school supplies!

I went with the whole school theme and used papers, stickers, buttons and a paper clip.

I think it's time to work on Fall projects today!

Have a great day!!!

My Handsome Little Guy

He is so proud of himself in this picture!  He had an amazing first year of school!

And the best part was using up older stash from Echo Park and a fun sketch from About A Boy!

Have a great day!!

How'd he do?

Gotta love having a little man around the house...he is just too adorable and tons of fun!
And growing up way too fast!

I used a sketch from the Boys Rule blog.

Have a great day!!

My Beautiful Girls

I ran across some older pictures of my 2 daughters and had to use them on a page.  I love these black and whites...

Lots of fussy cutting and a pretty border punch was dusted off.

Have a great day!!

My Soccer Star

My little guy is still not sure what sport is his favorite...right now he loves them all.
And his Mom really likes to take lots of pictures of him playing sports.  :)

Here is one of my favorite posed shots:

I stuck with the orange from his shirt and the black and white soccer balls for the Black and White and One challenge from About A Boy.

And here is the sketch from Artful Delight that I used for my inspiration

Thanks for stopping by!

Open Your Heart

Time to chip away at all those school pictures...including all of the school activities.

Here is my daughter with the FIRST instrument she chose to play for school band.

Again...this is the FIRST one...sigh...it's never quiet here anymore.

My inspiration came from Let's Get Sketchy:

Have a great day!

I'm back!

I cannot tell you how good it feels to finally get back to sitting at my desk and actually scrapbooking!
This has been the craziest, busiest, most insane summer of my life.  The kids are getting older and getting into every sport and activity imaginable.  It's unreal how time consuming these things can be.  And this was AFTER school let out for the Summer!  I'm actually relieved that school is back in session and things are on a much more manageable schedule.

We were also VERY lucky to embark on a long awaited European vacation.  We started out by leaving Chicago and flying into France.  After 3 days there, we took the train into London and stayed a whole week.  We have some family out there and had a wonderful time.  Then we flew into Ireland and stayed with family for 3 more days.  It was the most wonderful experience ever and I am so glad we finally did it.  It's definitely something we will not forget for a long time.

And it's going to be gazillions of scrapbook pages too.   :)

I just ordered all of the pictures to work on, so stay tuned.

Anyway...it's so good to be back.  My mojo was given a good swift kick and I participated in a sketchathon at 2 Broke Girls.  In 2 days (gotta love holiday weekends) I managed to kick out 14 pages for our previous trip to Disney.

They can be found HERE.

But for all my other pages, well....it's going to take a long time to chip away at those boxes of photos.  But I'm game, motivated and excited to get back into it all.

A sketch from Sketchabilities was my first attempt at a non-disney page.

Here is the original sketch:

It's good to be back again...this is the therapy I needed.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Have a great day!
