Scrapping time!

I'm finally finding my mojo again...enough so that I can really start catching up on things.
AND...Ive been starting to "collect" a huge stash again, so it's time to start chipping away at it.
I really need to start using up more stickers...my PSB is going to explode!

Here is a fun sketch from Let's Get Sketchy:

and because I have so many fun beach pictures, I used a few fun one to make this:

and from Colorful Creations Sketchathon, here are a few sketches:

Can you tell I am now a HUGE fan of Tabitha Triplett sketches??!!  Holy cow!  they are all so amazing!  I'm having so much fun!!

Rejoining civilization...

Good morning!  I feel like I lost a few weeks of my life!  I had some major dental issues going on.  I was so miserable for so long.  It turned out I had an infection and now I have to have 2 teeth pulled.  I made my appointment with the oral surgeon for next week....now I'm just trying to focus on everything else BUT what's going to happen.  The anxiety is making me even more miserable....but at least the pain is gone...for now.

To keep my mind occupied, I've been trying to work on some stuff.  It's a slow process because somewhere in all this mess, I lost my mojo.  Hopefully, I can find it soon!

Here are a few things I worked on yesterday and early this morning...that's what happens when I can't sleep...

This was my first attempt at using Glubers and some RicRac ribbon:

This was the color palette from Color Me Scrappy:

and this is what I came up with:

I used up lots of bits and pieces from Jillibean to put together a page for this month's sketch challenge:

And here is my page:

I flipped a sketch from the Boys Rule blog to get these pictures to work:

I used some mulberry paper, DIY Thickers and fine glitter for the title, and some plastic confetti pieces. Then I just "dotted" Stickles all over the page.

And here is my take on sketch #151 for Twisted Sketches:

My little guy just went back to sleep.  He's dealing with allergies, so he's not feeling too good.  But while he relaxes, it gives me more quiet time.

Have a great day!!!

The Godmother

Woohoo!!  I was able to do another quick one!!

Here is the original sketch by Let's Capture These Sketches:

And using the color palette from Scrap Whispers:

And the "white and one" challenge from Let's Get Sketchy....

Here is what I came up with:

LOVE this Enchanted collection by Bo Bunny...HATE my handwriting...lol.

Have a great day!!

NSD hangover....

I was so motivated yesterday and got lots done...and today, I just want to sit here and stare at my computer.  NSD hangover....lol.

I managed to kick myself into motion and work on a few things.

Here is the May sketch from Artful Delight:

And using a fun paper pad from Colorbok, this is what I came up with:

The flowers are chipboard pieces colored, and the hexagons were made with a punch.  This was also used for the hexagon challenge at Paper Secrets.

Then I wanted to play with this gorgeous sketch from C'est Magnifique:

And came up with this:

Sigh...I love this picture!  All of the papers are from My Mind's Eye.  The flowers are from the stash, along with all the ribbons and trims.  I added Stickles where necessary...pretty much everywhere...lol.
This was perfect for the "stash" challenge at My Scraps and More...to use 3 or more ribbons or trims.

Im hoping to keep moving...and work on more challenges....maybe...need coffee....

Have a great day!!

NSD and Jillibean Soup!

...and yet MORE scrapping fun on NSD!  I haven't had this much time, or this much fun scrapping in a loooong time!

Here are a couple of pages I did using NSD sketch challenges from Jillibean Soup.

For this page, I used a page kit with the New England Chowder collection.

And the second page is for this sketch:

And I used some Apple Cheddar Soup bits and pieces.

Happy NSD!!

Splendidly Authentique

I had to run out and take care of more errands and I just couldn't drive fast enough...lol.

Here is my take on the sketch for The Paper Bakery Kit Club:

I used quite a bit from a 6x6 pad of paper.  Even the flowers were punched from some of the patterned papers.  The only other thing I added was a few brads to the flowers.   :)

Happy NSD!

SCT NSD Challenge #2

Well...I don't normally do 2 page layouts, but I guess that's what makes a challenge a real challenge.

Here is my take on the 2 page sketch posted on Scrapbook Cards Today.

This was made using a This and That kit from Echo Park.  The buttons are from the stash.  :)

Happy NSD!!

Basic Grey sketch

I love this new collection called Plumeria by Basic Grey!  I just wish the weather would let me get out and take some nice Spring pictures....

Here are some fun friend pictures from the stash using a Basic Grey sketch:

Happy NSD!

The start of NSD!

Good Morning!!  I am so glad I finished a bunch of errands yesterday and did my chores last night.  Now I can spend the whole day scrapping!  HAPPY NSD!!!

Here is the start of my day:

I chose this sketch from Lasting Memories and this challenge was a "treasure hunt".  We were challenged to scrap something or about something we treasure.

I chose to scrap this picture of my and my little brother.  My time with him is so limited, that I treasure every minute we have together.  He is going through a rough time in his life, so spending any time with him is so short.  Geez, this made me cry!!  It's hard to believe this is my "baby" brother...lol.

I've been really getting into fussy cutting to make the most of my patterned papers.  I love these butterflies!

I also used this color palette from Color Me Scrappy:

I used up lots of fun goodies from My Mind's Eye for sketch #318 from Sketch Inspiration:

And I used lots of circles and bling for the Boys Rule sketch:

This was inspired by Nikki Sivil's "It's Raining, It's Pouring" collection.  I only had a few bits and pieces leftover, and I managed to use them all.  The clouds are felt stickers from Pebbles Inc.  And all the bling was from the stash.  Oh, and I did lots of doodling.   :)

Off to knock out a few more pages!   Have a great NSD!!
