Pirate Princess

I'm still working on the bazillions of pictures I had taken at my daughter's 8th birthday party.  Here is another page I did working off of a Reader's Reveal Sketch from Creative Scrappers.
All the papers used are from the Pirate Princess set from Rusty Pickle.  I also added some really cool flowers from The Paper Studio's Spare Parts set.
:)

Making a Splash

I can't believe how much scrapping I have managed to do this weekend!  AND...I got all the laundry done!
Here is a page I made with the Reader's Reveal Sketch from Creative Scrappers.
The circles were from the Magic line from Reminisce.
Foam pieces are Thickers.
Stamps from Michaels
Bling  from Michaels
Ribbon from Colorbok

Stuck on U Sketches....

Love this blog!  So much inspiration!  This week's sketch was pretty fun!  I'm getting the hang of my circle cutter.
For this page, I actually used the OUTER piece of the circle.  I had cut the circle itself for a different challenge and saved the outer piece for scrap.  I just place it over piece of patterned paper.  I love how it looks like I cut a new circle!
Prima flowers added some pizazz....and of course, some bling.
For the flourishes, I used the negative part of Bo Bunny Chunky Charms and traced it with my Zig markers.
TFL!!

Creative Scrappers Sketch #98

I really want to go on vacation again!   Oh well...maybe next year.
Here is my take on Creative Scrappers sketch #98.
All papers used are from K&Company Citronella collection.  I used pop dots on the clouds that were cut from the same papers.  Jolee's 3D travel stickers and thickers letter stickers.
I'm going to go pack something...maybe hubby will get the hint....

April Sketch Challenge - Imaginisce

Imaginisce is having a sketch challenge for April.  My wonderful Fedex guy just delivered this amazing box of Imaginisce goodies this morning!  I was so excited and overwhelmed with everything in the box!  Papers, stamps, flowers, ribbons, rubons....Amazing!!
I chose to use as much of the new goodies as I could for these awesome pictures from our last cruise.
The circle behind the photos was cut from white cardstock, inked with Antique Pewter, and then sprayed generously with copper Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels.
I also added black and white brads to the centers of the flowers.
Thank you Imaginisce!!!

Something Unusual??

StuckonUSketches had an interesting challenge this week.  We had to use something very unusual on our pages.  I LOVE to save EVERYTHING from our vacations...you just never know when it will come in handy!
For this page, I chose to use the actual chopsticks and the wrapper as an embellishment.  Weird, I know, but I knew I saved it for a reason!  DD wasn't happy with me at all..she really wanted to use them for practice.  This was from our dinner at Tappan Edo in Epcot.  She can't wait to go back....neither can I !

Vintage challenge

This was for another challenge I was working on. The challenge was to do a page using something "vintage". I thought the black and white pic and the lace were perfect. I added some trim I found at Hobby Lobby and a frame from K&Company...and of course, BLING!

Using my stash!

I  managed to squeeze out a layout this morning!  I have a birthday party to get ready for today, and here I am scrapping!
This was a sketch challenge for Stuck on U Sketches.  I chose to do some spring cleaning and use my stash.
I used papers from Heidi Grace - Urban Acres Blvd. line.  The chipboard tag and swirls are from the same line.  The flowers are from my Prima stash.
Happy Spring cleaning!
